FAQs

Where is your office located?

My office is located at 504 Little Lake Dr., Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is just off of Jackson Road and is near UM’s West Ann Arbor Health Center. When you arrive, enter through the front door and continue down the hall to office #9. There is ample parking and an Ann Arbor bus stop half a mile away.

Can we do therapy virtually?

Absolutely. I offer therapy via telehealth to anyone located in Michigan using a HIPPA secure platform called Simple Practice. If we are meeting via telehealth, you will receive a link to the session 24 hours in advance and then again 10 minutes in advance.

How much do therapy sessions cost, and do you take insurance?

Individual therapy sessions are $150 and relationship sessions are $200. Each session last 55 minutes.

I do not work directly with insurance. Instead, I provide an insurance receipt called a “superbill” that you can use to request out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company.

I also offer a sliding scale based on ability to pay. If my standard fee is a barrier, please reach out so that we can discuss if an adjusted rate is an option.

Your intake paperwork will include a Good Faith Estimate, which outlines estimated out-of-pocket costs for our work together.

How long does therapy last?

The length of therapy depends on your goals and inner world or relationship. Couples and individuals vary in their goals and how long it takes to meet them.

While I cannot give an estimate of how long it will take for you to feel more at ease and secure in your relationship and/or yourself, I can share that I am often surprised both at just how rapidly clients experience lasting change and at the value of gradual work as well.
